Student Veterans Organization

The SVO at San Diego Mesa college is an organization designed to help meet the academic and social needs of veterans of the United States Military and to maintain a student veteran identity within the San Diego Mesa College community. The SVO also helps promote veterans’ issues, assists with the integration of veterans into the academic and non-academic community, and promotes community service and leadership.

Our partnerships and projects with Mesa College Military Affairs include:

• Collaboration in providing student veterans at Mesa College with personal financial education
• Workshops for personal financial education
• The SDFLC and its partners will be conducting a series of presentations on various personal finance topics
• Volunteer opportunities at special events
• Access to LifeCents, financial assessment
