Profession: Daniel was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and moved to Los Angeles at two-years-old. Upon graduation from high school, Daniel enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and spent five years on active duty, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Daniel reached the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2004, when he began his career in the mortgage business.

Daniel is a published ­financial author, and currently serves as Vice President of Mortgage Lending for Synergy One Lending located in San Diego, CA. He is very active in the Military and Veteran communities as well.

A growing icon in the mortgage education space, Daniel teaches workshops spanning San Diego County to educate veterans and agents about the VA home loan benefit. Additionally, he hosts the “Military Mondays” radio show on Monday evenings at 7pm PST on channel 1170AM KCBQ, which aims to educate, empower, and engage the San Diego Military and Veteran communities.
